There are dimples and rough surfaces here and there, but ive already sanded it kaokao. Duno what todo.... so here it is lar..

Did the final touches of the body last nite

CHASSIS DEPT

Yesterday i worked on the Chassis and wheels. Spent the whole afternoon and night doing it. Managed to finish it! What's left now is the body/frame...

Set up the parts to spray. Brake disc backing, suspension coils, disc brakes...

The chassis with painted silver nuts at the bottom. Tamiya also provided a transparent piece below the engine for display viewing.

Attached the Ferrari Decals on the wheels. Super small, i had to use tweezers.

Disc calipers sprayed red.

Painted the middle part gold and inserted decals for the calipers. Also super minute job..

Some parts ready to be installed - radiators, backarms, disc brakes, axles

Fixed the front wheel arm

It joins with the interior compartment piece

Installed the exhaust manifold and torque axles on the engine.

Radiators - i fixed a black wire to both the radiators to increase realism a little.

Masked the glass and ready for paint

Done Chassis

Chassis with wheels..

next, the body/frame

need lotsa spraying and polishing!

INTERIOR COMPLETED!

After 3 days and about 16 man-hours, ive finally completed the interior! It doesnt exactly replicate the real 360's interior, in terms of colour. But why make another 360modena when you can actually 'zhng' your car according to your preferences?

Added on the floormats and E-brake.

Took some mesh and sticked it to the mat, as the driver's racing pad.

Used some black ribbon and tweezed a couple of staples to make the seatbelts. I really makes the interior more realistic.

One of the great details by Tamiya is the Horse emblem on the head rest. Can't really see it here, but it is clearer in the previous picture.

Then i fixed the dash, and im done!

Placed the body over the interior to see how visible the interior is. (After all that hard work)

Sadly, you cant see the pedals and racings pads anymore. A small glimpse of the floormat can still be seen tho, but maybe not the texture detail.

Still can see the seats, middle panel, seatbelts, seatbelt insert, side panels

E-brake too... phew

Placed the engine behind just for fun. This is so far what i've done.

Frankly, im pretty slow already. Gotta speed up a lil on the work.

INTERIOR (2 days and still under construction)

Boy. I didnt know detailing the interior is a pain! Demanding lotsa patience, time, a steady hand, and tools smaller than your finger, it pays to do a good job!

Dashboard, doors, seats, cabin...

Test fitment

Started work on the door panels first.... another shock for me - painting in acryllic paint is tough! But with practice, it will soon be an easy-peasy job!

Used my silver marker pen to highlight the meters and air cond vents...

Door panels done! Detailing from the corner speakers, sporty aluminium panels, to the latch!

After painting the cabin, i asked my mom for some felt cloth. Cut it out in shape to make my floormats!

Yea, pretty thick floormats.... so i decided to keep them under 4 large dictionaries overnight, to make them flatter!

More paintwork, middle panels, pedals, and some mesh in the front... (not sure what is it for)

Test fitment of seats and door panels..

My work looked something like that so far.... darkened the line edges of the mats with black..

Steering wheel, signals, and F1-type gearshifts....

Painted the steering wheel for a more sporty look, and inserted decal...

This is an extra feature to make my model more realistic - cut some extra black parts, cemented them to the side, a painted the head. They make the seatbelt lock thingo.

Attached the steering wheel, meter decals, dashboard emblem saying "360modena"

WATCH OUT FOR THE FINAL PRODUCT!
coz im not done yet, haha....

still waiting for the paint to dry on the back panel and E-brake...

lol
